Gentle functional orthodontics

The Bionator

The Bionator is a removable appliance. In suitable cases, it can support the interaction of the lower jaw, tongue and muscles during growth.

Frequently asked questions

Well informed before your first visit

When should my child see an orthodontist?

An initial assessment can be useful during primary school, especially if the bite is unusual, there is mouth breathing, crowding or early tooth loss. Treatment is only recommended when indicated.

Do you treat adults?

Yes. Depending on the findings, treatment may include clear aligners, fixed braces or functional and temporomandibular-joint-focused concepts.

What does holistic orthodontics mean?

In addition to tooth and jaw position, breathing, tongue function, muscles and the jaw joints may be considered when relevant to the individual diagnosis.
